Asian Youth Exchange (AYE) 2013 that was held on 2-5 July 2013 in Kuala Lumpur, really has a special meaning to me. It is because not all people open their hearts to join an event like this. In my opinion, this event was not just a forum that gathered youth from different countries but it was also giving a lesson with real evidence through action.
This event began with a briefing to the participants about "One Family Under God (OFUG)". OFUG is when everyone in this world can live peacefully and happily, because helping each other makes us realize that all human beings are brothers and sisters and God's creation.
Then the event proceeded with the sharing of the people who have made changes in their area. Finally all participants plunged into the field to apply what they had in getting from the previous session. Living for others became the strength of what I was doing at the time. With a small action we have great expectations for the benefit of others.
The most valuable lesson is when it comes to help others without questioning religion or tribe. Thus, the lessons learned here are about OFUG that is actually realized. It is time for everyone to realize it. Do not make the difference that leads to a problem that resulted to a split. Therefore, the youth become one of the tools to perform such a change. Because, together we can change and where youth gather there be happiness.
